The Light Sport and Ultralight Flyer takes a look at the
Maverick LSA during the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring Florida. The Maverick light sport aircraft / flying car is a
four-wheel all terrain vehicle capable of flight. Power is supplied by
an automotive aircraft engine conversion. Controls for driving and flying are the same as you would use in a car. With a steering wheel, brakes, and an automatic transmission. The Maverick requires a drives license to drive on the road and a Sport Pilot's / Powered parachute license to fly in the air.. Speeds on the ground can be up to 70 mph, while speeds in the air are in the 40 mph range. |
